URBANIA is a decorative coating specially designed for bold and stylish design and architectural solutions. The finest granite chips of high-quality are the main filler of this material so that ensures its strength and durability. Also, silicone polymers and special additives make URBANIA a vapour-permeable, moisture-resistant and self-cleaning coating. This product can be used for both interior and exterior works. This material will ideally match the luxury industrial interior as well as perfectly complement the elements of any modern urban facade. URBANIA is produced in RUST colour base.

Apply QUARTZ PRIMER NERO (Fig. 1) to a flat and prepared surface, previously treated with a reinforcing primer TiefGrund or AQUABARRIERE (TM “Elf”). You should apply QUARTZ PRIMER NERO by fully covering the base and if necessary apply a second layer of primer. Wait until it is completely dry.

Add the selected dye in accordance with the color chart in the catalog and thoroughly stir the material.

URBANIA should be applied in a single layer using one of the suggested techniques:

Technique №1. Apply the product using a stainless steel smoothing trowel with multidirectional movements evenly spreading the product over the entire surface in a layer of ~1 mm (Fig. 2).

Technique №2. Apply the product using a flat wide brush by making stripes in a selected direction (vertically or horizontally) and spreading the coating evenly over the entire surface (Fig. 3). Then compact the material using a stainless steel smoothing trowel in the same direction (Fig. 4).

It is possible to correct the deficiencies of the coating if necessary by additionally applying the material with a brush “wet on wet” followed by a compaction using a stainless steel smoothing trowel.

Wait until coating is completely dry after application (8-12 hours).

NOTE: To obtain a more elegant effect it is possible to combine different color solutions on one surface.
